He was crying and crying because he was so overtired. Well, I put him on the bed so I could finish getting ready and I turned on the hair dryer and he went into some sort of tranceChat Icon He was out like a light. As soon as I turned it off, he woke up screamingChat Icon

Yes I remember those nights all too well. The bathroom was the family hang out. Blow dryer, running wate, bathroom fan! We should of put a rocking chair in there.

Hey whatever works! Hang in there it will get better I promise.

White noise..the vacuum, fan, anything. They have CD for that stuff. Maybe I should try it for my son!

Of course I have the kid that is afraid of the hairdryer and vaccuum so now I can no longer wash my hair unless I am showering while she is asleep and well vacuuming is a challenge because I'm always afraid I'll wake her up but sometimes I risk it.

Wow! You all can manage to blow dry your hair? I'm lucky she's calm long enough to shower. I've only dried my hair 2 or 3 times since coming home from the hospital for special occasions in 7 weeksChat Icon. That's fantastic for you.

I use an air purifier every nap time and night for DD. I am convinced it's the white noise.

It took me many months to be able to do so. At 7 weeks I was still only showering when DH was home.
