I think her fever has officially broken!!

After three scary days of 103 temps, I think she is finally getting a little better...

But she hasn't really eaten in two days...is that OK? She grazes, like 2-3 ounces every few hours. She actually ate some cereal and fruit this morning, but she just won't eat anything else now...we managed to get about 7-8 ounces in the last 6-8 hours, but that's it.

She seems ok, she is now laughing and playing again, but still sleeping a lot...

So glad she's feeling better. Has she had vomiting or diarrhea? If so, did you try to give her some Pedialyte?

If she's having wet diapers and taking some fluids, it should be fine. Hopefully, she'll be back to herself tomorrow! Chat Icon

Warning
Michael had a fever for a couple of days which we thought was due to more molars coming in but it stopped and then yesterday morning he woke up with a bad rash. I thought it was him sweating and being warm over night and after giving him a bath, waiting a few hours and it getting worse rather than go away we ended up at schneider's and found out that it is the Roseola Virus. A few days of fever then just when you think the baby is fine they end up with a rash.
I'm praying that is not the case with your little one but I just wanted to warn you just incase so you'd know it if you see it.
The doctor's said it is a very common virus that is going around right now but it's no cause for concern, it doesn't bother them it just bothers us because we have to see them with the rash. They told us we just have to let it run it's course and that it will go away in approximately 3 days or so.

Crossing my fingers that your little one doesn't have it.

Thanks, we actually went to the doctor as soon as her temps went to the 102's as anything not in the 100's, low 101's as my doc told us that is not teeth but infection...
She had an pretty bad ear infection...and is now on amoxicillin...

I really love my doc too, because they called us on Sat. morning and yesterday to see how she was doing and if we wanted to come back in to have her rechecked...it was a great reassurance...

Glad to hear she is feeling better. It's normal for kids not to want to eat much when they are sick.
