Day care vent
We got a call today that the accidentally gave another baby dd's bottle. This really annoys me.
Not because they wasted her bottle, we always pack enough so there is extra.
It annoys me because if they gave dd someone elses bottle, how do I know she is not allergic to whatever is in it?
We went through a bunch of different formulas before we found one she could tolerate, and everything else makes her sick.

Katie didn't get the wrong bottle, another kid got HER bottle (thank goodness for me)

wow I'd be annoyed too, I mean everyone is human I suppose... but I know from niece who is daycare, that every single thing she owns has her name on it in Sharpie Pen or a label.
Her bottles had her name on the cap, the nipple ring and the bottle!
I'm glad they told you about the mix up!

It could always be worse -- I've heard of daycare centers accidently giving the wrong child pumped breastmilk from the wrong mother. At least you can tell the other mother exactly what was in this bottle without having to get a note from your doctor!!!
 So frustrating!!

People are human but I would call and speak to the director and just explain that you are very upset and that the care givers really need to be careful.

What bothers me about it is what if it was breast milk??
