ETA>>> I thought I'd share that someone I met recently at a BBQ and whom had a baby of four months did the cord blook banking and said to definitely negotiate with these companies. Let them know about the competition and how the other companies can have better rates. They will negotiate with you and you can get a better price. Thought I'd pass along the information.

We're not...we were even told that with the high cost of doing it, its not guaranteed and there are so many unanswered questions surrounding it.

We used Viacord. I agree that there are many questions regarding how useful it may be if ever needed, but we decided that even though it was alot of money we would never forgive ourselves if god forbid we wound up needing it and didn't have it.
