how much weight do you loose just from giving birth??
Obviously the wieght of the baby but what else? How much approximately is water weight, the placenta??

I lost 17 lbs, my DD was 6 lbs 11 oz so i guess the rest was water, but i also lost another 13 lbs within 2 weeks after having her since i was so bloated with water the first few weeks. Unfortunately i gained 50 pregnant so i still have 20 to go.

Honestly - I didn't weigh myself until my 6 week check up.
I gained 48lbs during my pregnancy. I lost 34lbs - I have 14 more to go

The placenta, the amniotic fluid, and you also build up your blood volume.

I lost 27 lbs!!!!!!!!!! I was weighed about 1 week after DS was born and that was all from the baby.. because God knows I wasnt exercising or eating healthy food!

Thats kinda like me- I came home weighing 8lbs less...and DS weighed 7-12... so I ONLY lost what he weighed...
After about 2 weeks- my total weight loss was 35lbs...

the day I came home, I was 10 pounds lighter. I lost another 8lbs or so during the next week.

I lost 10lbs by the next day.
It's been one week and I've lost a total of 27lbs.
But I still have a ways to go since I gained 60lbs.

With Caiden I lost 35lbs just from giving birth. I gained 65lbs all together. He was 10lb 12oz at birth!

i lost 12 pounds by the day i got home from the hospital. now at 7 weeks pp, i have lost 26 pounds, 10 more to go.

Me too!!! I came home weighing 10lbs less. Alex was born 9lbs 11oz. I also lost about 35lbs after 2-3 weeks.

Jackson was 6lbs 14oz. 8 days after giving birth I was down 27 lbs out of the 37 lbs that I gained.

i gained 45 lbs lost 35 two weeks after birth and the last 10 during the 6 week post partum. still trying to lose more but hit a plateau joined back up at the gym but have no motivation.

the average is about 12 pounds. I have no idea what I lost because I did not weigh myself until I went for my 6 week pp checkup. I lost all my wieght by then.

I gained 45lbs and weighed 175 when I gave birth. I don't have scale in our house but by 5 weeks pp I weighed 147. I put on a few pounds since them. DS was 8lbs when he was born and I think I lost the most after I gave birth to him. I also breastfeed for 5.5 weeks so I think that also helped alot also.
