Why husbands cannot be trusted to go grocery shopping
DH suggests the other day... "Why don't we have tacos sometime this week?"
"Sure, sounds great."
Well, we didn't shop this weekend, and I was gone all day yesterday, so DH shopped on his own yesterday during the day...
He bought the following for our tacos:
Meat
Tomato
Shredded lettuce (after i called him to remind him).
What he forgot:
A taco kit,
sour cream
cheese
And he actually went out today to buy the sour cream. And still forgot the cheese and taco kit until we started cooking the meat.
Ahh, he tried.

I usually have to write things down for my DH...it's like they get to the store and get all confused!

I think it's funny that he forgot the shells... can't have a taco w/o them
I always forget the sour cream so I shouldn't talk.
He still gets some points

Yup!!!
YUP!
DH does all the grocery shopping because I absolutely hate it. I give him a very detailed list. If it's not detailed who knows what he'll come home with. i.e. I asked for ground Turkey... he came home with ground beef. I asked for chicken cutlets... I got a whole chicken

Take my husband shopping and he shops like a little kid:
Sugar coated cereals, cookies, ho-ho's, the expensive ice cream cones, etc.
At least he was trying!
