3rd grade teachers-

I need to do a project where I will be adapting activities from a 3rd grade curriculum for an 8 year old child using AAC (augmentative alternate communication). I've downloaded curriculums from websites, but wanted to get a real teachers perspective.

What are some typical activites found in the third grade classroom?

What subject ? I can look through my curriculum if yu want. AHHH ... I used to use that devise when I taught autistic c.hildren

Any subject actually, but just for sng, lets say language arts, social studies, or science.

I'm working with a severely autistic boy this semester (has nothing to do with this project). If there's one thing I learned this semester is that I do NOT want to work with autism.
