How much whole milk per day?
Hi,
I am in the process of transitioning my son from formula to whole milk (he's 11 months old). So far no problems...
I'm just wondering once he is drinking an 8oz bottle of whole milk--how many ounces per day of milk should he have??

My son was 12 months when I put him on whole milk and my doctor said average 24 oz. He will drink a little more if he eats less solids that day and may drink less if he has more solids. That seems about the way it is going.

Our pedi always said between 16-24 oz. a day.

at at that age Aidan averaged about 20oz a day, now is anywhere between 16 and 24oz.
He also drinks water and juice/water.

Alex drinks about 24 - 28oz a day. He also drinks about 2oz of water a day.

Jared drinks about 16 oz a day. A bottle in the morning and one at night.

My ped always said min of 16oz and a max of 32 oz per day. DD was always around 18-20oz. per day.
