I'm not watching, but Stan IS actually alive. I forget the whole story, but he was never really dead!

OK, here's the scoop on Stan 
He never died. He was put into protective custody by the country. He has been in hiding. I can't remember who's ashes they said it was. Last year Alec Baldwin was on (not sure if you saw any of the previews with him) as the federal agent who put Stan in hiding. Alec's character like Karen so he wasn't going to tell her about Stan. In the end, he did and Karen is back with Stan.
