Ladies in your first trimester what are you doing aboug pants!

My dress work pants still fit but my jeans are uncomfortable even with the rubberband trick. I went to look for pants today and I am normally a size 2-4 the size 6 fits but i know will be uncofortable and the size 8 fit in the waist with a belt so gives me some room but under my waist the pants look so funny. Maternity smalls dont fit yet except for the old navy but the pants are a little short on me. So is anyone else having this problem. I am also 11 weeks.

I had that same problem with my first pregnancy. I am having my second now and I am only 8 weeks along and I can wear my maternity pants!!

Sizing regular clothing up is your best bet. Or try and find pants with an elastic or drawstring waist.

I am 13 weeks and my regular work pants are getting to be very umcomfortable. This in between stage really stinks. I purchased a few pair of pants 1 size up and they are too big, I just wear a belt. They make me look like a have a saggy azz. I think after this week I am going to have to go shopping for some maternity clothing.

Shirts have been the worst for me, I normally wore a medium and they are all too short now.

I am about 9 weeks and change right now going through the same thing. I gained a tad bit of weight so I went from 7 pairs of work pants to maybe 2 that still fit.

i broke down and bought some maternity jeans, I have nothing to wear anymore already!

I too was a size 4 pre pg, and have jumped already to a tight 6, comfy 8. I don't wanna buy larger sizes non maternity, i just have a feeling i am going to grow out of them wayyy to quick.

I plan on buying maternity work pants soon so i can be comfy there. They may be a little big in the beginning, but i have too

I'm 12 weeks (tomorrow). I am still able to wear all my usual pants - but they are all pretty low rise. My belly definitely pops out over them- but so far, no new pants are needed.

I pretty much wore a lot of yoga pants in the beginning or work pants that were a little bit on me. I didn't start buying maternity clothes until around 4.5 months.

Depends on how you are growing. I couldn't wear much maternity until I was over 20 weeks - around 24 weeks or so I started wearing it all the time. MY belly took awhile to pop but my hips and body kind of expanded. At 11 weeks most of my regular clothes (I wear tailored suits to work so that was tough if you even gain a pound normally) didn't fit.

I bought mostly clothes in size 8 and 10 (I normally wear about a 6) and wore them until 23 weeks or so. I found some of H&M maternity is cut small and would fit me and didn't look maternity at all. I also wore some maternity pants with my husband's belt and spent a lot of time pulling up my pants. Those in between times were the worst. I wanted to burn my clothes but the end because I only bought a few things and wore then everyday waiting for maternity to fit.

I gave in and bought maternity. My OBGYN said some women just get bigger faster nad between retaining fluids and the PG hormones making me bloated, I cant wear my regular pants anymore. I cant wear my button down shirts anymore either.

So I bought maternity. It is a little big on me but I know Im not going to lose any weight and I will grow into these clothes. I didnt want to buy bigger regular clothes because it was a waste of money.
