Update I'm so excited...I got my smiley face today so I have my first IUI tomorrow!!!
Well everything went well as I posted on the TTC board. No cramps so far. We had 22 million little guys on board for the trip so hopefully  one will make it to the final destination. This is going to be a long two weeks!

OOh Donna yelled at me for failing to tell her that she might experience some cramps for the rest of the IUI day.
Just wanted to let you know in case you ahd not heard.
I hope the IUI does just the trick to help you get your BFP!

Thanks everyone! I know it's silly to get so excited and I shouldn't get my hopes up but I can't help it. Do any of you know the success rate of IUIs?

is it a natural cycle or a medicated cycle?
I believe a natrual cycle is 30% chance while a medicated one is more (depends on timing and how many follies and such)

Medicated cycles...as of Monday AM I had a follie on the right at 16 and a follie on the left at 18.5. Those were the two biggest ones...I had a few more that were around 12

Tht sounds great! When I last O'd I only had one follie at 18mm and that one was all I needed!

Success with IUI has to do with sperm count/motility as well as the woman's body. My dh asked Dr. Saketos a lot of questions about that today. Basically, she said their success with IUI is on a bell curve...the most success they have seen is when the sperm count is around 25 million. If the sperm count is more it actually lessens the chances and of course low sperm count can lower chances as well. It's kind of interesting....so much goes into this !

I heard the same thing from a few people about the 25 mil count. Or at least that teh chances DO NOT improve with a better count, most Dr's get their best results at the 25 mil count mark..I found it interesting, and YES...YOU CRAMP! My 1st two IUI's were worse and this one yesterday was not bad, mild cramping actually, only when I moved around a lot...I took Motrin this time and it worked wonders.....I go straight to work afterwards so Its like a normal day..
