Calling All Gymboree Moms...

Just curious...
Wat age did your child start Gymboree?
Also, do they seem to respond better to Music or Gym?

I'm thinking of enrolling Alex at 6 months, we had a Music class trial today, a Gym trial on Thursday.

I just brought Brendan for a trial class last week. He's 3 months old. It turned out there the teacher was absent and there was a sub so I don't think I really got a good sense of what the class is really like, but I'm enrolling him anyway. On Friday we're starting the Level 1 class which is for 0-6 months. I don't think they have music classes for his age, but I think he'd like gym better right now.

Julia started at level 2, (6 months). She is doing the gym part and loves it, shes in level 3 now. They sing a little in the gym class too, but I feel she does more in the gym class.

My son started at level 2 when he was 6 months, he wasn't crawling but I definitely believe all the mats and exercise help develop his muscles. We tried a music class but once he started crawling he didn't pay much attention to it. I didn't think it was really worth the money anyway. We love the gym class and just enrolled in summer. I think anything before 6 months is just a waste of money.

We took the level one class when Katie was almost 3 months old.
She was a little too young for it I think, it was more for me to get out of the house!

I want to take the music class, I think she will respond better to it now that she is older.
