I was told only Tylenol. Not Tylenol PM, Tylenol sinus...etc.

That's what I figured.. My gf is telling me that she can but I don't recall ever being allowed to take any of that stuff.

It's on my approved list of meds to take. Every doc is different. You can always call and ask.
ETS: No flaming but my Doc said a half a glass of red wine before bed (if you are out of your 1st trimester) is fine too.

we can take benedryl and that helps with insomnia

My perinatologist said I could take Unisom for trouble sleeping, and if that didn't work I could take Tylenol PM but only up to twicw per week.

Oh wow! I'm so glad I asked you guys!!!
She's 25(?) weeks along so she should be okay, right? I feel like it's been ages since I was pregnant so I didn't recall that being okay but if you ladies say so, then so it is!

Every doctor is different.
If I was her, I'd not take it though.
You are really only allowed to take plain tylenol (325mg) while you are pregnant and I wouldn't risk taking any medications if possible especially on the first trimester.
She should call her OB.

WHen I was pg, my OB told me to take Unisom for my insomnia. He said it wouldn't have adverse effects, and why take additiona medication for something that isn't a problem (Tylenol PM if you don't have a headache, for example...)
