My DH makes fun of me because she's on from 6-7 every night and I always watch, but she gives me good idea's. And they are sooo easy to make.

the thing that bothers me about that is that she tips next to nothing, I hate people that don't tip appropriately....

Not expected in most countries outside the US... I just had a $500 dinner with a supplier from Chile, very wealthy - he left $30 - I went back and put out $100.
Service charge is included in prices almost everywhere.

She actually is a B!tch. I say this because hubby met her in the airport and almost had her escorted by PA and thrown out. She was waiting on line to be screened. Got screened and people starting asking her for autographs. So she stepped out of the "sterile" area and started signing autographs.
Then she jumped the line, and continued to walk to her gate. Mind you when you leave the sterile area you have to be rescreened.
She walked passed everyone and passed TSA. Hubby had no idea who she was. He treated her like he would treat everyone else. He told her she needed to get back on line and be screened. She refused. She told him I was just screened 5 minutes ago. I was standing right there. I did not leave the terminal.
He told her those are the rules and if she refuses to get screened he will have her escorted. She did the "do you know who I am" He told her I dont care who you are, you are a passenger who left the sterile area and now you have to be rechecked. She started yelling at him insisting she had to walk through without being screened. He told he wait here I will get my supervisor and you can take it up with him. She said fine. He got his supervisor and she walked away with the supervisor.
After she was gone, his coworker told him who she was. He said he didnt care if she was the pope or the Queen of Istanbul she is a passenger and those are the rules. You pass that white line, you get rescreened.
He doesnt make the rules he enforces them

I like her. Though she uses the word Awesome more then anyone I know. I also LOVE her $40 a Day show. Makes me want to travel more. Though I do admit she tips horribly. But, I like that fact that she's not snobby about where she eats or how she cooks.
FYI-She is not a certified chef. She just loves to cook!

I can't stand her - I've tried a bunch of her recipies and DH and I have thrown them right out. Even my dog wouldn't eat them
I'll take Tyler Florence any day

I love Rachel Ray. I've tried quite a few of her meals, and only one of them didn't work (but i think i just had the burner on too high).
Yeah, she can get annoying, but she makes the only food i'm ever going to be capable of making, so yay for her!
