I am so disappointed...(edited)
AF found me this morning. We have been trying for 3 months and I am getting a little down. I know I am 39 and never been pregnant but I didnt think it would be this hard. Thanks for letting me vent.
Thank you everyone. I really appreciate all the suppot. We havent told anyone (family or friends) that we are trying, so its great to be able to talk to you about it.

I know it can get very frustrating. DH and I are in the same boat. I'm 36 and have been actively trying for about 3 months too. We decided if nothing happens on its own by the end of the year, then we'll go back to the drs. to make sure everything is working properly.
Don't worry about venting. The girls here are AMAZING!!!!! We all help and support each other.

I know how you feel...... I am 39 myself and the Dr. kept referring to my age yesterday...Can you tell your Dr. you would like to get more aggressive?

I know exactly how you feel...I think we all do. A lot of us have had a very hard month and have been feeling like you do. The best I can do is send some and tell you to think positive. Maybe try to plan some fun things you wouldn't be able to do if you were pregnant. I hope you feel better soon!

I'm sorry. I'll be 35 on October 1st and it's month #4 for us. We even started in May two months before the wedding. Oh yeah, and I found out today that one of my friends is 6 weeks preggos
Yes, there are days that are very hard. Can you talk to your doctor? Are you charting? Show him/her your charts.

Ive been trying 2 months and its hard. Thought it was going to be so easy, and reality has hit! Its not easy.
Im going to try a few more months. If nothing by maybe Jan/Feb. I may start asking the Dr. questions. Im 30, but still a little nervous!
These ladies on this board are strong and incredible! I love popping on here to say "hi".
I wish you "Baby Dust" for next month!!
It would be great if we can get more BFP's!!

I am so sorry- As an older bride too(almost 36) I have the same fears and worries- we have actively been trying for only two months but were weren't exactly careful a couple of months before either. I am still praying that this is the month!

I know how you feel. I am 39 also and we started trying a while ago. I would highly recommend seeing a doctor if you don't get any results soon.
On the positive side, my friend(also 39) conceived exactly six months after she started trying. With no outside help such as Clomid or IUI's.
Lot's of Baby Dust to you.
