when i was a child my Mother used to sing Amazing Grace to me before bed time. (Nancy Grace  )
I remember my grandmother singing Im a little Tea Pot to me.

My mom used to sing to us every night before bed, she would usually make up songs that went along with the stories she told us.
My dad, on the other hand, used to play his guitar for us and sing Puff the Magic Dragon. We couldn't get enough of it! That and Jethro Tull It's the reason I became a professional flutist

These boot are made for walking. It used to make me laugh because she would walk her fingers all over my stomach.

My dad used to sing a Yiddish lullaby to us before bedtime. It's about a goat sleeping under your bed who has sweets he will give you if you have a good night sleep.
I now sing it to my dog before we go to sleep. My DH thinks I'm insane, but I don't want to forget the song for when I need it for my own kids.
My grandmother used to sing me a sicilian lullaby when I was little and I always sing it to my godson's now, because I don't want to forget it when I have kids of my own.
