UGH!!! I hate this crap!!! ~~ Ok, so if you wish hard enough sometimes it does come true...
So Now there is two more days in the month.... Still no AF after d&c!! ( thank you to the girls who answered last time and told me it could be a few more weeks...) I even took a HPT, (before that post) with a hope and a prayer but obviously it was a BFN  BUT is it at all possible by some small miracle possible to to get pg at any point before the B*** shows up!?!?! Someone told me that after the d&c you are more fertile.. kinda like you are after giving birth. Is this true? I am so damn frusterated I can't take it anymore!  I never thought in a million years I'd be wanting it to come! I almost feel like since we got pg so quick the first time that it's just not going to happen again, you can't be lucky twice... can you??
6/30/06: Sorry ladies for all my whining... Todday AF reared her ugly little head... and seems a little ****** off.. is it normal for it to be so heavy like this.. seems like it was after the d&c! Very very heavy... DON"T get me wrong... I'm thrilled I finally have it.. almost feel a bit normal today! So thanks... once again for all the support!

You can get that lucky twice- in fact it took me a long time to conceive the first time and only a month to do it after my D/C. I think it does make you more fertile.
But I know how frustrating it can be waiting for that first period to come- you just want to get the whole ordeal over with so you can start over. I will tell you though, I was so excited to get A/F only to be terrified when it was time to BD at ovulation time because I was so scared to have it happen again.

I have been doing a lot of research the past couple of days. I am having my d&c tomorrow and was curious how soon we could try again. All of the info I have recieved says that you should get AF in 6-8 weeks and that your fetility is increased for about 3 months after the d&c. I hope this helps!!! Good luck and lots of

 I am sorry you are going through this .. I had a miscarraige and D&C at 13 weeks last year and I know that I could not WAIT to get my first AF after that point, because I just wanted to be 'back to normal' and back closer to TTC again -
It took about 7 weeks after my D&C to get AF ... and then my doctor had recommended that I wait another cycle before TTC again .. There is debate amongst people on how long you 'need' to wait after a miscarriage. Quite frankly, you dont need to wait at all (in particular if you have a natural miscarriage and don't require a D&C, you can try again right away) But doctors often recommend 'waiting' more for emotional/mental reasons, as well as so that you can have a better idea as to when you conceived if you are lucky to get PG right away again -
I will also share with you this: It took me well over 1 yr to get pregnant the first time due to various issues. But after my M/C, I was blessed that it only took 2 cycles to get pregnant again. I am now 24 weeks along with a healthy pregnancy - So I pray that brings you some hope that it might just happen quickly for you the next time

Just to give you something to measure on. I had a natural M/C(no d&C) I bled for a month had 2 free days and my period started, so really it took a month
