I failed my 1 hour glucose test
Now I'm off to take the 3-hour one on Tuesday. I am a little bummed, but will go ahead and do it. The doc said my numbers were slightly elevated (around 150), so he thinks it might be a false postive because they took my blood at 55 minutes instead of 1 hour. Ok, so that's a real stretch, but we'll see come Tuesday. I guess I'll bring a good book. DH will take me and pick me up, but he'll have Andrew so he won't really stay with me. I just want it over with. I had no problems with Andrew's pregnancy in this regard, so I was a little shocked. Wish me luck on Tuesday!

Good Luck & keep us posted. I am going for a three hour on Friday. My mom has type II diabetes, so they had me skip the one hour and go for the three hour. I heard from some of my friends that is is not too bad.

Sorry you failed the 1 hr. I also failed the one hr and ended up passing the 3 hr. It's not too bad, just bring a good book.

Sorry you failed. Don't stress it. I know so many people who failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour - I am one of the few I knew who actually had gd!! My 1 hour number was much higher than 150 too. My SIL just got over 160 on her 1 hour and passed the 3 hour! 150 isn't much over the threshold so it could be a fluke and that 5 minutes can make a difference!!!
