Suggestions needed
I need your help ladies... please 
how do I get DH to be more motivated about TTC? I would love to hear any and all suggestions 
he wants a baby, but his mindset is more along the lines of ... lets just see what happens now that we're not using BC. Meanwhile, I want to get preggo YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!

You don't really have to get him that involved. Just make sure you're gettin some on the nights you need to! I sing a little song to my husband. It goes.....Tonight is your night bro. This was something he had told me one of his friends used to say if they thought a buddy was going to hook up with a girl so now I say it to him and it makes us laugh and he knows that we will be bd'ing that night

Your DH and my DH seem to be of a similar mind-set
Get to know when your fertile period is and seduce him. He doesn't need to know why if he doesn't want to. Maybe he's afraid that it will become mechanical if it's all about "trying to make a baby." Stay relaxed and spontaneous (or at least make it appear that you are  )

OMG! you NAILED IT! he complains about it being machanical and not romantic. you know, I never would have imagined in a million yrs that I would have to convince a man to have sex!

I would just initiate it when you know you are Oing. You don't even have to tell him.
Plus, you never know. I got my BFP while we were just "waiting to see what happens."

I totally agree with the above posts and it works!
i got pg twice with DH thinking "whatever happens, happens" he didn't want the baby making to seem mechanical, timed, and pressured. I was charting so I knew exactly what was going on
He just liked getting a little somethin somthin more often

It’s amazing to me what “babies” some men are. So it’s only fun to have “relations” when they’re not TTC?

Don't get your DH involved in all the details.
We actually spent over a year figuring out with all that stuff when I was Oing so we wouldn't conceive. And from that experience, it was the time I wanted to do "it" the most. Our bodies have a way of telling us when is a good time!
After the m/c we just went with our gut and we got PG right away! But I knew when I was Oing just by reading my body.
IMO, there's no need to tell him about your chart, OPK, and inform him of all this calculation. He just needs to be seduced at the right time

I think what makes me feel "left out" is when I see posts about how other husbands go with their wives to the gyno for consultations and how involved they are.
You couldn't pay my DH a million $ to go to a gyno he would freak OUT!
