Who goes to NSLIJ Center for human reproduction or East coast fertility?
Pauline- Is this where you go? ( NSIH?)
I need some details.
I want to make a consult with one of them and am torn...
Can you guys tell me the office hours? And is it a long wait?
The NSLIJ office....Is it difficult to find the place being int he hospital or right outside it?
Is the staff ( nurses) patient? Do they do their own lab work( blood ) there?
And anyone who goes to East coast..have you used Dr. Pena? And is the office convinenet hour wise?
I need to base 50% of my decicion around work schedule unfortunatly...
Thats half of the reason or even 90% of the reason Im staying with RSONY.
TIA!!

Donna, I go to NSLIJ- Human Reproduction and love it there ( well as much as you can love going to a specialist). I see Dr. Chu, she is young and patient. The nurses and staff are very nice. I believe they do have late hours but I'm not sure. The wait was not long at all--I got an appointment a week after I called. It's very easy to find. It's on Community Drive in Manhasset- hospital entrance three. You take that up the hill and make a right. It's on the right hand side in the back. If you have any other questions feel free to FM me. I hope you decision becomes a little easier. Good Luck.

Re: Who goes to NSLIJ Center for human reproduction or East coast fertility?
Yes Donna, this is where I switched to. It is NOT hard to find at all and they have their own parking lot right out front. I get the impression that they have very flexible hours but I dont know for sure. The earliest appt I have had was 8:15 but that is only because I work 2 miles away and usually ask for a later appt.
They are super nice in the office, they call you back right away, they do all thier bloods there and the doctor himself has been doing all my sonos.
They take my insurance and have bene very organized about payment schedules.
I know location is improtant for you too. It is about 10minutes from the NHP train station (actually there may be one in manhasset that is closer-I'm not sure) and it is only about 10 minutes away from RSNY.
You can check out their website too NSLIJ-Center for Human Reproduction
