Anybody want a good laugh at my expense?

So, this morning I hit a ton of traffic and was running late to work. By the time I got up by my office, my car was seriously running on gasoline fumes. I stopped to get gas, filled up, and drove to work. When I got to work, I noticed that the door to my gas tank was open. I went to close it, and then noticed that my gas cap wasn't there! In my rush to get to work, I forgot to put the cap back on, and drove off with it sitting on the trunk of my car!

I borrowed my coworkers car and drove back to the gas station to look for the gas cap, but it wasn't there. I made a couple of phone calls and found an auto parts store that has the one I need, so my coworker is picking it up for me. I feel like such an idiot and wasted my whole morning!

I'm finally at the point where it's making me laugh though!
