Do you ever wake your baby up? And yes, I'm asking the pregos!
Sometimes, and I know I probably shouldn't do this, but I wake her up I jiggle my belly until she's up.

Hey no worries... I'm going to do that when the baby is out! 
Though now that I think about it, I think it's the opposite with me. I'll be sleeping, and not feel the baby at all, but the moment I wake up in the middle of the night, the baby starts kicking/punching/stretching... I picture the baby saying "hey, you're awake!" and the baby celebrates..

I hope I dont sound to horrible.
With my first I went in to have him video taped ( I dont know if they even do this anymore).. I paid 200 dollars and sure enough, he was sleeping!
I was so upset and they told me they would try again in 15 minutes...
I bought a soda from the vending machine and drank about half of it..I figured the cafine would get him moving!
I felt so bad but it worked and just to show how what we eat and drink affects the baby.. he was hicuping on the video....I figured it must of been the soda...

I never needed to wake Christopher. He was SO active. Not much has changed . I have a feeling things are going to be different this time around though.

i have tried, but with not much success  sometimes i get a little worried that she is not responsive to me...
she has no problem waking me up though, and then i'll gladly play with her after a mini scolding

Well, I started doing this (and I don't do it all that often) because JT would always be at work or in the other room when she was kicking, so finally, I said, let's just wake her up! And we did. And it worked!

I did when I was pregnant with Sarah and we went to see my brother graduated from the police academy. I woke her up right before they officially graduated and when I told him later the baby was moving around then he got so excited.

When my Mom was visiting from out of state 2 wks ago, I woke the baby up because I wanted my Mom to feel her move ...but she went right back to sleep

during our level 2 he was sleeping and was bent in a wierd in half sort of wy...I think thats the only time I have poked him to wake up.

YEP, I totally know that feeling, I remember with my past 2 pregnancies, as soon as one of them gave a jab, I made a game out of it, jab, JAB, jab, JAB and back and forth. Just the little interaction between you is like a private little piece of magic 
Right now, babyboy in there is just slightly moving, I cant wait for the elbow jabs and rib tugs
and in my family, theres no shame in waking the baby (in belly) for others to see the big moves "HI how are you, have you felt the baby move yet ? NO ? Come here ! " and away we go, so Im guilty too rachel and right under my right rib was always the SPOT to go for

Hmmm, I wonder if I'll ever have her up near my ribs? She's so low, it looks like there's a sack of potatoes under my belly button! I said to someone today that I feel like a baby hammock!

When I was pregnant, my daughters use to wake up my littel guy. It would be all quiet and as soon as they would get up the volume in my hiouse went up quite a but and my little guy would start squirming all around, they still torture him too!

When DH plays guitar for her she moves around for a few minutes and then goes back to sleep again. He likes to wake her up so he can feel her move around.
One night he really rocked out on the guitar and she was dancing around in there!
