baby's heartbeat vs. gender
what is the heartbeat supposed to be for a girl vs a boy? TIA!

Old wives tale is that higher (over 150) is girl, lower (130's-140's boy).
However....my baby's heartrate has been-
163 at 12 weeks 168-14 weeks 162-18 weeks ..
and its a all the way, lol

we are not finding out the sex, but i am trying to guess LOL!! today they said the baby's HB was between 159-161 b/c of all of the activity.

No prob :) For the longest time i thought i was def. having a girl first...and then the high heartbeat made me think girl even more...but nope, boy!! I would think so much has to do with activity level during the ultrasounds as well....more active the baby is at the time, higher heartrate will be...and all three times my boy was jumping around like he just consumed a pound of sugar, lol..

For a boy its supposed to be below 140-ish
My baby was 118 at 7 weeks.... But from about 3 months on, she has been between 150-160 ++ range.
