Blockbuster in centereach by the smithhaven mall
Today is their last day they are closing down but they are staying open for one more week for returns for people who took out movies that is what they told us. I am so surprised i guess because that store is so hidden that no one goes there as much anymore. but the one in smithtown on mainstreet and the one in setauket will be open!

Actually, renting movies from a store is completely on its way out. In 5 years I predict there will be no more brick-and-mortar video rental places... at least not Blockbuster and Hollywood.
Most people download their movies or have netflicks.

that would be or was not be able to download movies how would be be able to rent! i guess buying in the store would be the next best thing!

The way you wrote your question I'm not sure at all what you are asking.
In a few years we will all be downloading movies via computer, cable box or renting through net flix or a similar service. You download the movie and it is charged to your credit card.
The brick and mortar stores are too much overhead for these companies and they are cutting into their profits. You will see more and more of them close. The Blockbuster in Plainview closed over a year ago.
