Re: Does anyone else here sleep more than you should?

I'm so awful, I would sleep my life away if I could. This weekend, I was arguing with DH, so I was sulking a bit and spent all day Saturday in the bedroom with the door closed Chat Icon childish, I know...but I read about 5 pages of my book and then fell asleep from about 2-5 after having woken up at about 10.

My problem is though, that I don't have the ability to know when I've had enough sleep until I'm actually asleep. When I do, I literally can't wake up and I start to have very strange dreams of actually waking up and doing all of the things I need to do - so my mind thinks I'm awake. I know it's really bizarre. Sometimes, though, these dreams are really scary - I used to have a recurring one where someone would come into my apartment and see me in my bed, but I couldn't wake myself up to get out - it was really upsetting.

I used to have the gift. I could easily sleep until 2pm on the weekend. I'm sure I still have the ability, but alas not the time. My gift is wasted now to get up at 6am to stop Joseph from making Maddie maple syrup & whipped cream sandwich breakfasts.
