First fifteen minutes was about Charlies story....he was a straight laced kind of guy and initially didn't want to be in the band anymore but his brother convinced hm too.
Sayed was planning the antenna thing and Charlie was struggling with his drug addiction

OK I CRIED again at the END!  I'm such a loser ... I was so happy that he tossed those drugs into the fire, goooo Charlie 
BUT can someone try to help explain to me what Sayed was doing with the antenna thingy? I missed the beginning too and must've also missed something else regarding that. And WHO HIT HIM , what happened - damn this show, no wonder everyone was so hooked on it during its first run!
OH and what is up with Kate jumping all over my boy Jack ... down girl!

First off I agree...Kate needs to stay away from our man (my we have a lot of men)
Sayed was trying to figure out where the transmission, that the french lady had on a loop, was coming from. He put an antenna in the jungle, on the beach and on the mountain because if the transmission fell in between the triangle he could find the source of it...make sense?
You know what I hate about the re run part of it....no coming attractions!
