Failed Glucose Test!
Now I have to go for the 3 hour one...I kinda figured I fail it because my father's entire family had diabetes and my dad died last year of pancreas cancer....somehow I knew that my pancreas probably wouldn't process the sugars correctly...
Oh well. Can anyone tell me what the 3 hour is like? Thanks

The 3hr is flat out boring!!!! Take lots to read or a friend if you can because it is three hours of sitting in a lab waiting. Oh and food to eat right after the test is over because you will be hungry!
All you do is drink the drink and every hour they draw blood to test to see your sugar levels. I had GD - so I had the 1 hour test (twice), the three hour and then after the baby a two hour to make sure it was gone.
Hope you don't have it because I personally thought it stunk....but if you need anything feel free to FM.

Thanks everyone! I hope that I pass the 3 hour...we'll see...I'm trying not to get too upset about it yet. Thank you for all your support - it means a lot to me!

That stinks! I hope you pass the 3-hour. I just found out today that I passed my 1-hr and I'm relieved, though I wouldn't have minded taking the 3-hour, because my office lets you leave and come back.
