friend/vacation vent
im visiting my friend in CA.
1.)
i wanted to go in october. she told me her boyfriend wanted me to come in september. so i booked sept.
-they broke up and now it doesnt matter
2.)
she calls me up saying theres a concert she wants to go to on the day i get there. does she mind if we go?
-i dont want to but reluctantly agreed
3.)
she then calls me to ask me to change my flight!?!?! (so we could get there early cuz her now ex wanted to drink in the parking lot beforehand)
-i actually put my foot down and said no
4.)
NOW she tells me she got a new job. I'm happy for her, but now she has to work one of the days I'm there!
5.)
lastly, she was supposed to fly back with me to visit her dad... and now she isnt coming!
sorry to vent, its just alittle annoying. i get there saturday and have to go to a concert STRAIGHT from the airport i dont even want to go to.... then we have sunday. then monday she has to gvo to work. and then i leave tuesday at 2pm!
the plan WAS to have all day sat, sun, and mon... now its like we only have saturday

That stinks!!!  I'd be p'ed off too. There's nothing you can really do now, so dont let it upset you. Go, try to make the best of it, and enjoy the free time to yourself.

yes thats what im going to do. my mom told me not to go but i think thats silly.

it was actually quite inexpensive. it was $280

i was gonna say if it was alot of cash, it might have made sense to reschedule when you had more time with your friend
