Good pregnancy books

Hey girls,

I was wondering which books on pregnancy everyone is reading and (especialy for those moms out there), which books did you think were the best.

I just started reading the Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy. It seems like a good one.

Re: Good pregnancy book

My favorite one by far is Week By Week Pregnancy. It's informative and I like how it tells you about weekly changes (especially in baby's size) as compaired to monthly like a lot of them do.

I also have What to Expect when You're Expecting which is my 2nd favorite.

And I got Pregnancy $ucks: For Men for my husband and it's quite hysterical. It basically gives him the same monthly breakdown of what's going on, but with a LOT of humor.

I also love Week by Week pregnancy. Someone gave me Girlfriend's guide to pregnancy as well as Belly Laughs which are funny. I also have what to expect, but I am not too crazy about it.

I like Pregnancy Week by Week, Pregnancy ***** (funny read).

I did not like What to Expect because it has a lot of what could happens and it can be a little scary in my opinion.

Re: Good pregnancy book

"Thinking Women's Guide to a Better Birth" was a great book to read about the different options available during the birthing process. It gives the pros and cons of drugs, being induced, c-section, etc...

I enjoyed reading Secrets of The Baby Whisperer by Tracy Hogg when I was pregnant.

Re: Good pregnancy books

You know, almost everyone I talk to said that they like Week by Week way better then what to expect, and that they really don't like what to expect that much. Funny that it's the best selling book. I think for years it was just the most informative, but now so many others are coming up.

The book that you are referring to- Week by Week Pregnancy. Is that called Your Pregnancy, Week by Week by Dr. Glade B. Curti sand Judith Schuler- or is there another one? Thanks!!

BTW: I love the girlfriend's guide! I just finished the section on fears- and it hit everyone I had! And it was so funny. Its an amazing feeling to know that everything I am feeling, so many women have felt before and will probably feel after.
