HOLY HEARTBURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cannot believe the heartburn I have for the past few days!!!!!!!!!!!! I had this with my first daughter and I forgot how painful it is. Just had to vent

I never had heartburn until I got pregnant- then for 2 weeks it was AWFUL. Thankfully, I haven't had any for a few weeks.

Try drinking milk in small doses. Also if you live on Tums drink A LOT of extra water to avoid a kidney stone from the extra calcium.

I can def sympathize!! I had acid reflux before I was pg. It's horrible!! I hate taking medications so I only take my tums or nexium when it's soo bad I can taste the acid on my tongue!

I never experienced heartburn, until being pg. A couple of weeks ago it was horrible, then it went away. This week it's back, but not as bad. Tums have been my best friend!

I never had it before pregnancy, had it terrible while PG, and now, 10 months later still have it occasionally. The only thing that helped while I was PG were the liquid Maalox and Mylanta.
Ugh. another crappy PG symptom.

Cute anecdote for those of you who are suffering with heartburn. My girlfriend tells me that the old wives tale is that the more heartburn you have the more hair the baby has and that's what causes it. Don't know if it's always true, but for her son it was. he had a ton of black hair when he was born, so funny.

my heartburn was so bad some nights i thought i was having a heart attack. with my first pregnancy TUMS was a lifesaver, but with my second pregnancy, my heartburn was even worse and nothing helped me.
