Im new here and need advice
Ok. Very long story but bear with me... im just so confused with whats going on and im getting worried. My last normal period was on august 9...then on august 23 I spotted whatever no biggie. then I never got my period in September but then started spotting on sept 18 but it was very scant and only brown in color.that ended on the 22. Then i expected to get my period definelty in Oct...only to start spotting again on oct 9 and now it seems i only find blood after i go to the bathroom( Im sorry for the grossness) this time though it is pink, but like i said never reaches the pantyliner, its only after i wipe. I took a preg test on thursday oct 6, because me and hubby are trying, and it was neg......but this just seems so strange to me..I have a doc appt. today but im freaking out over here, could the test have been wrong.. any advice would help...thank you.......
oh and by the way i have no cramping whatsoever like i would with a period, thats what is even more bizarre

Welcome. I know everyone's body is different, but 2 months ago AF was just like that with the spotting every week and a half, two weeks and it was very unlike me. Then last month, I got a normal heavy period - like my body is used to. It could be the stress of TTC taking a toll on your body, throwing off your cycle. I wouldn't worry about it, but def mention it to your doctor!

well don't freak out.There is always the possibility that you are prego...but wait until you go to the Dr.
Maybe you are just stressed?
I never skipped a period in my life...these past months my system has been SOOO crazy.
So hang in there...

I too never skipped a period in my life or had that brown/pinkish spotting. I think I just had an "off" few months - possible due to stressing about TTC. I was always pretty regular, but I was getting AF more than once a month, and then started the spotting and like I said - back to normal last month. Good luck!

Im really not that stressed...the only thing I can think of is that i did lose some weight but that was back in may...so i dont see how that would affect me now. I have no other symtoms though, no sore boobs, no naseau, nothing just this stupid spotting

I would advise you to start temping , use fertility friend for the charting software. It could be a few things that are causing the spotting. It's nothing to be 'scared' of, the more you see what your body is doing or not doing the more in control you can be. That can happen if you chart. I would ask your doctor to run a few tests. One of which would be your thyroid levels, tsh, t3, and t4 and a glucose test.
