metformin + clomid

is anyone on both? I saw my new RE today (Dr SanRoman as RS of NY and LOVED him) and my next cycle is going to include clomid if we dont get a BFP this month.

I know its a popular drug but I don't know anything about it (yet).

I am going on month 2 of the clomid, metformin combo. My RE said that 60% of women ovulate with the combination. Its yet to happen for me.

I'm just on the metformin now, but my doc said the next time I come in she's going to put me on clomid too. I'm pretty sure I ovulated with the metformin because my temps went up before AF, but this time I'm going to use OPKs to. She said adding the clomid would up the chances.

I probably will be starting the clomid along witht he met i'm currently taking maybe next cycle.

I've been doing both.

I was on just Clomid for 5 cycles. I ovulated for the first four of those cycles, but not the last one.

Then I started going to an RE, who put me on Met. I took that for a cycle (Clomid free) and I ovulated on my own, but on CD 30-something.

This past cycle I was on the combination of Met (1500 mg a day) and Clomid (100mg CD 3-7). I ovulated and we went through an IUI, but still got a BFN.

I'm currently on CD 1, I'm still taking the Met and I will be starting the Clomid on Sunday.
