Only two months with the new mattress...
and Aidans climbing out of the crib already
I never even heard him land, I found him playing with his toys!
He's 17 months and I honestly don't want him in a bed. So far he has only come out when he wakes up in the AM or from a nap. When he goes down for sleep he stays in.
I think I am going to baby gate his door but he can open it and I don't want him pinching his fingers. I know they have those cushions, but then I cannot keep it closed at night. The handle is old fashioned and I'm afraid the door knob thingy might be too big.
Any Ideas? I don't want him wandering about!

in all honesty....I think it's time for a bed. Once they start climbing out the risk of them getting hurt is so not worth it!

toddler bed time! it's too dangerous for him to be climbing out, especially if you don't hear him. We moved my daughter to a toddler bed at 18mos.

I have to agree with its time for a toddler bed....if he falls out he could fall right on his head or break a leg or an arm
Better to be safe than sorry
