Should I give the puppy chew toys? ( pig ears etc??)

I have been reading the posts and always want to give her something, but I know to stay away from Raw hide, because they say she can get globs of the stuff stuck in her throat.

But is she too small to give anything else?

What about treats? We obviously are still in the training phase, so we give her treats after certain things, but Im scared of those too. I break them up into little bitsy pieces and she probably thinks Im nuts.

I need help.....

Donna - when our pups were about Abby's age I got them these bones....it was like puppy crack. The loved it. I got it at the petstore and they said it was all natural. Nothing was bitten off from the bone - it kind of just got sticky - it def. helped with her teething. I believe it was just a natural bone. I can't remember the exact name. Maybe someone can help me. It was about 3.00 for one. A lifesaver. Kept her busy for hours.

there are chew bones made for puppies

i gave martin mostly the Nyla and Booda bones

they also make puppy treats

martin moved up to the reg small size treats pretty quickly though

But if you want PetCo has a little buffet of small treats you can buy by the lb

Molly never liked any of the Nyla bones either. Let me see if I can find a pic of the puppy crack.

Nope - not at all. At least Molly didn't - and neither did Lola. They just bite on it. It is really hard. It gets all white and chewy (which is gross) but nothing for them to swallow.

I don't remember which one I got because I bought it in the store - not online so I just grabbed one from the bin. If you have a petstore near you I'm sure they have it.

Tiger LOVES Pig Ears, but his new thing is he buries them now when I give it to him
