What is your favorite brand of baby clothes?
Just curious. I just washed a ton of baby gap clothes and they did not wash well. I am using Dreft and washing them on delicate.
I thought that it was the brand. What does everyone like to buy?

Honestly I haven't had problems with anything except one outfit from Old Navy that shrank in the dryer. I have all different brands from dollar store outfits to Gymboree clothes.
I use Dreft, All Free n Clear, tons of spray n wash and baby oxiclean.
Were the new? If so I would just return/exhange them. Tell the store that you washed them and they did not hold up. They should stand by their product.

I haven't had any problems with clothes when washing. At first I used Dreft, but now I use All Free and Clear. I also use the regular cycle.
90% of his stuff comes from JCPenney. My mom sends a box of clothes for Nate every 2-3 months (she works there). The brands are mostly Okie Dokie, Carters, and a few others that they carry.
I've purchased stuff from Children's Place, Marshalls, Old Navy, Target, KMart. Unless it's for a coat or other staple item, I tend to go for the less expensive or sale item bc they go through clothes so fast.

I had the same issue with Dreft. So we switched to Arm and Hammer (the ped suggested it) and his clothes come out fine now.

Osh Kosh, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren....
There the only brands I buy and the colors dont run.....
Depending what article of clothing it is however.... some things do tend to still shrink a little...

I never had a problem with Julia's clothes or w/ dreft. I buy her clothes from Gap, Old Navy, Gymboree, Childrens Place, Denny's, never had a problem w/ any store.

Emily has stuff from Carter's, various brands from Kohl's, target, and also Old Navy, Gap, Gymboree and Children's Place. We use All Free & Clear or even Purex Free & Clear if I'm totally broke because it is much cheaper. I haven't had any problem with it except for stuff shrinking (especially the carter's) if I dry it on high so I always dry it on low/cool now.

Same here. They hold up well. I'm not a fan of Gap at all, maybe its because I can't find any boy clothes I like there.

I like Old Navy, Gap & Carters. I also love the more upscale stuff...I have a few Tommy Hilfiger, Rocawear Baby and Sean John outfits for him...they wash/wear very well.

I agree that Gap doesn't wash well. I buy mostly Ralph Lauren, they wash well (except for the rugbys which I dont put in the dryer), Gymboree has held up, but the best quality I've found is Nautica kids. Their t shirts are really thick and wash better than anything else. Unfortunately other than Tanger I dont know where to buy it.
And for sleepers its mostly Carters, some wash better than others, its kind of hit or miss with the different weight fabrics.

I love Carters clothes. My son has been wearing them since he was a baby and now he's 27 months old. They always fit him right and they don't shrink. I also have a Carter's outlet by me so that helps.
Oh... I always used Baby All when Caiden was little and now I use All Free and Clear. It was easy for me to choose this detergent since I always used All for our clothes before the baby.

i buy baby gap all the time and love their stuff. also carters, childrens place and gymboree
i use all for babies at 3.99 a bottle and $1 off coupon who can beat detergent for 2.99

I find Baby Gap washes and wears well - I like them the best, but also shop at CP and occasionally ON....I don't find ON's quality to be that great - even for a toddler who will only get a few month's worth out of their clothes. I also find ON's clothes shrink :(
I wasn't too happy with Carter's clothes either - a lot of stuff seems really thin and not the best quality. Their sleepers pilled like crazy. Now I have Em in CP's fleece sleepers. They hold up really well.

Jake has a lot of Gap Clothing, Childrens Place, Ralph Lauren and Carters. I have found that they all hold up pretty well and so far I have had no problems when I wash them.
Oh yeha, we use Dreft Detergent

I dress John in Baby Gap. Baby Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Sean John Old Navy and Childrens Place. They seem to wash well and retain their size and colors. Carters seem to shrink way to much. I used Dreft on his clothes but now I just use the same detergant on his that I do on my and DH's clothes

I have all brand of clothes you name it I have that at least 1 outfit from that place I have used dreft and I use All free and clear and never had any proeblems with clothes

We have mostly been shopping in Gap, Old Navy, Ralph Lauren. Plus we've been getting gifts by Little Me, Carters and a variety of different brands.
