when did you go for the first hair cut?
My Dh is superstitious and wont let me cut Bryan's overgrown hair before he turns one. He said that he heard its bad luck  I really want to trim it up for his party on sunday he looks straggly!!!

I heard the same superstition! I didn't cut my first sons hair till he was one, now I'm doing the same for my other two! My Dh thinks I'm wacko!

I'm going thru this now too...Joseph is 8.5mos and in DESPERATE need of a cut but I'M the one who won't do it until he's 1 - not because I'm superstisious, but because it just seems like he isn't little anymore if he gets a haircut

I never even heard of the superstition but kind of want Emily to get a haircut just to even things out a bit since it's alllll over the place. She kinda looks like she has a mullet somedays  but people tell me to wait until a year.

Too funny - I felt the same way - like he would look like a big boy
but I was so desperate. It was in his eyes & bothering him. I got his hair cut at 9 months and he needs it cut again.
He turns 1 June 23rs so I'm waiting to closer to his B-Day so he looks nice.

We waited till she was 10 months but she could have gotten one at about 6 months.

We had my sons 1st hair cut at 10 months. My mom was dead set against it telling us it was bad luck, until she saw how he looked like an adorable little boy afterwards. I don't believe in superstitions.

I trimmed Patricks bangs myself. When he was about a year or so. But, he didn't sit in a hair place till he was almost 2. I loved his hair. Killed me to cut it.

Jesse is 13 months and we still haven't cut it. We just brush it to the side for now. He could use a haircut but I'm going to put it off as long as possible.
