who has taken a systic Fibrosis test?
how do they test you.. is it just a blood test?

Yep, mine was done when all the other bloodwork was done. They took 10 vials for all of the bloodwork.

Yep, mine was done when all the other bloodwork was done. They took 10 vials for all of the bloodwork.
Same with me and I got the results back in a week.

I did a whole batch of genetic tests before I got pregnant- and CF was one of them. It is just a blood test.

I also had it done with all my other blood work... I dont even think they asked me... It was on the lab slip with all the other bloodwork..

I just got back my results and I test positive for it that I am a carrier. My husband now has to be tested and we are going for genetic counseling....has anyone else gone? Just curious about the process.
