Why Do PPL Always Want the SMALLEST dog?

i dont get why ppl always want the dog that is going to be the teeniest.

its ridiculous....

some ppl lie to themselves/others about it....

for example, yesterday i was at my moms house and some girl brought her dog.....

it was a minpin/mini daushund mix.... it was 4 months old and needless to say small. she kept going on and on how "she wont get any bigger, shes full grown"

ummmm, no she isnt! shes going to at least double in size!


i dunno, sometimes i just dont get why they want the smallest of teh small.
is it just for attention??(for themselves)

for one, we have a 10lb dog because we live in a respectable size co-op.
yes, we want a lab or something but he would be too big for our space which we don't have much off.

some people find small dogs cutier then others...

a bad example is how guys like girls with big breast....

you are who you are....

i just saw the cutest small shiz-tsu yesterday. yes, they were small but they were the cutest... so prehaps its why the bread ....

size does matter depending on the home some people have other intrest in size... just by opionion

im not asking why ppl like small dogs, i have three!!!! all 10lbs and under....

im asking why ppl want the smallest of teh small and will even lie just to make themselves feel better.

people who get upset if their dog gets over a certain weight like 5 lbs or something


this obviously isnt everyone, but there are certain girls i have seen who just want the smallest dog possible

I don't know if it's really about marketing - I just think its a certain way of thinking. While for myself, I don't really like small dogs and would definitely not own one- there is something about a teeny tiny dog that's adorable.
My cousin just adopted a 5 month old chihuahaua that weighs about 3 pounds and I have to admit, she is the sweetest tiniest thing I have ever seen!

Everyone has different tastes, that's why there are 100's of breeds to choose from - some people like
Chihuahua's and others like Neapolitan Mastiff's

I personally dont like teeny tiny dogs because I get worried that they are too fragile but I guess I can theorize that the smaller the dog, the less shedding, less food, less poop, etc.

I actually want Molly to get bigger and bigger. I was so nervous when she was just a teeny little thing. People would almost sit on her without realizing she was behind them.

The bigger the better!
