Good sushi or Indian food in Suffolk
We just moved from Queens and are DYING for these types of eateries.
Anywhere around the Deer Park area would be ideal, but I'd travel for a good place.

There is an Indian Place on Commack Road in Deer park. Its a 2 or 3 of a "chain" of Indian restaurants...on being in Hicksville which is fantastic!!

ShowWin In Northport- I love this place. It's nice and big and the food is great. They have tons of special rolls.
Kotobouki (sp?) in Hauppauge. I think the orginal one is in Babylon. This place is great and I think rated #1 on LI. If you go in Hauppauge be prepared to wait and they don't take reservations. I've never been to the other one.

There is a place called Sushi Park in Jericho in E Northport. I just started to eat sushi but the people who love Sushi say its good. Its a buffet of Sushi. Yummy.

Kotobuki in Babylon or Shiki in Babylon are good for Sushi.
There's an Indian restaurant on 111 in Islip, just north of the train tracks that's good. I think it's called Curry Cafe

We LOVE Indian food! He misses his mother's home cooking, so we get it a lot. We usually go to Shaheen, its on Hicksville Rd. They have amazing Chicken Makhani, ladoos, and gulab jamun. I didn't know of any good Indian places in Suffolk, I'll have to check some of these places out!

Sushi: 'Tomo' in Huntington Village.
Indian: 'House of India' also in Huntington Village. They have the best curry!!! My God! Love the butter chicken.
