Sciatic Pain
I did a little too much cleaning yesterday and I ended up with the worst sciatic pain ever! I couldn't even walk. I had to make DH my servant!  Luckily today I feel better. Is there anything you can do to help relieve the pain? I've had it before but never this bad. I'm so afraid of what's going to happen when I'm further along.

There really isn't anything you can do about it and as you get bigger, the more intense the pain will become. Take it easy. Forget about the cleaning.. put your feet up and relax.

I took Tylenol.
I iced mine the other night, that helped.
I also started seeing a chiropractor.

I use the heat wrap things that are elastic and go around your back.. that really made me feel better-- Good Luck!

thanks for the advice! hmm, another excuse for a massage.  those heat wrap things sound good. i'll have to try that too.

Nothing seemed to work for me, I had this problem about a week ago.. Horrific pain. It seems to have subsided. Either he changed positions or I am just used to the pain by now!!! Good luck...

Mine acts up every so often and its soooooooooooooooooooo bad!!!!!
I take warm baths...and when its real bad..I take a tylenol or rub some bengay on my back...
