Please recommend a moving company...for a state to state move...

So as some of you know, DH and I are relocating to GA. We're thankful and grateful and excited to buy our dream house. Thank God! Chat Icon

But this moving business is stressful and there are so many bad companies out there. Chat Icon

Can you please recommend a moving company that is reasonable and honest/reliable?

We need to be in GA no later than 4/9! Chat Icon

Thank you so much! Chat Icon

Update:

I booked with Svcky company after finding them from moving.com. Thanks for the help ladies! Chat Icon

UPDATED: My stuff arrived late and some items broken (why did I bother labeling "fragile/glass"? Chat Icon ). Save yourself the aggravation...don't use them!!

My friends used a co. called Ken's Moving. They said they were great. I believe they are located in Queens.

Mayflower. Although they were a bit pricy they did an excellent job. We moved from NY to FL. They do everything for you. Our stuff even arrived earlier than it was supposed to. They also had a good rep. w/the BBB.

We used Hilldrup to move from VA to CO last month. They did a GREAT job. DH and I packed just about everything except I had the movers pack my china and crystal. Nothing was broken, and none of our furniture was damaged or scratched (I was really nervous about something happening to my china cabinet, but it arrived unscathed.)
We thought they were very reasonable too; it cost around $4000 to move 1600 miles.

Here's their website: Hilldrup

Good luck!

I don't have a recommendation, but I can tell you who I would avoid. We used Lehigh to move from NY to NJ and I would NEVER recommend them!! They were a nightmare! Chat Icon
