Stupid question about freezing chicken
We were supposed to have 3 of our friends over for dinner tonight. On my way home from work yesterday I picked up some chicken to grill tonight and it's been sitting in my fridge marinating since last night.
2 out of our 3 friends had to cancel tonight so there is only 3 of us eating. Since the chicken was never frozen and then defrosted, can I freeze the chicken that I'm marinating? Not all of it, but it's too much to cook for just 3 people? Is it okay since it's been sitting in a ziploc bag full of marinade?

Most definately! I do it all the time!!! You can even freeze it in the marinate!

I think it will be fine because it was always on the refrigerator. You never really left the meat outside to defrost. You can probably freeze it in the same bag where you are marinating them and next time you cook them, they will be even tastier because the meat had absorbed more all the seasonings...
I think they said you should not freeze meat that has been defrosted and left outside and then freeze them again.
