is this normal for 9 weeks
I am nine weeks today YAY and i weighed myself havntgained but my pants are getting tighta nd i am bloated. My coworker who knows i am pg said to me today ( in a nice way) that i looked liek i was getting heavier . which at first it was funny b/c i forgot i was preggo for second and was insulted then i realized what she was saying. it was quite funny actyually.

Totally normal. I didnt gain anything until about my 2nd trimester and by then none of my clothes fit and I was in maternity sizes.

be lucky you havent gained yet! i put on about 7 lbs by 9 weeks... so bad! i've always had control over my weight but i needed carbs like i never needed before thruout the first 10 weeks and i'm paying for it now :(

I didnt gain anything til 5.5/6 months... but started wearing some maternity @ 4 months...

I'm almost 14 weeks, and I haven't gained anything. The dr. told me it was fine, as long as I was eating - and I have been! But same here, I look "fat" and my clothes are tight.... I'm only down to a few pairs of pants that fit. I'm sure I will start gaining soon since I'm moving into my 2nd trimester.

Absolutely - my body was expanding in the beginning - but i wasn't necessarily putting on weight - its an amazing thing to experience - your body is going through a complete transformation!

I had only gained 2-4 lbs early on yet NONE of my pants fit at that pount - its just bloating. perfectly normal.
