Having surgery tommorow
IT's not TTC related but I dont want to announce on NFR...but Im SUCH a baby...and could really use some good luck vibes.
Its ambulatory so if all goes well I will be home tommorow as well.
Im just scared....I hate hate hate being put to sleep and I hate hate hate pain killers, so I guess tommorow I will face two fears.
Whats bugging me, is I switched anxiety meds to TTC and its making me sooo nervous now when Im faced with something like this.
I will be fine, Im sure
Thanks for letting me get that out

I've never been operated on... yet. I'd be scared if they removed a hang-nail from me. I'm sure all will go well, though.

Good luck- I am sure you will be ok- also if you get anesthesia they will give you a little something to ease the anxiety when you get there. They offered to do that for me when they saw my BP was really high and I was so nervous. So take advantage of that!  that you are feeling ok by tomorrow...

Donna -- I had back surgery 2 years ago - didn't know if I would wake up crippled or walking or anything in between. I was a nervous wreck. So I know how you feel -- plus I react terribly to anasthesia.
Take your pain killers -- your body needs to concentrate on healing, not on getting over the pain.
