The best parts of having a pet are...(please add yours!)
- when you walk in the door, no matter how long you have been gone, they are thrilled to see you and treat you like you just came back from a 6 month adventure
- watching how they make DH laugh
- how they make ME laugh
- the way they bark at themselves in the mirror
- when they chase their tails
- watching them play together
- the way they lick you to wake you up
- the unconditional love

 i love when he watched himself in the mirror!!! anywhere he catches his reflection, he'll stop, bark and paw at it!

i love when he watched himself in the mirror!!! anywhere he catches his reflection, he'll stop, bark and paw at it!
It is so funny Denver was so funny, at first he would try to play with the dog in the mirror then he would get scared and run away. He kept us laughing, doing it for 20-30 min!

When Rudy wakes up in the morning he is just sooooo happy to see me.. He jumps around like a little kid just showering me with love and kisses
When I watch a sad movie and I start crying Rudy will snuggle the top of his head into my face almost to say "don't cry mommy"..
I could go on and on about my Rudy!!! I love him so much

The way she has to be touching some part of me when she is laying down.
I love when there a small animals on TV and she jumps up to go sniff the set!

-how my pug/beagle barks at the tv when another dog is on
-how he barks at the rottweiler until she gives up whatever she has hat he wants
-how when he gets caught being bad outside (digging) he runs around in circles
-how excited the 2 of them get when we come home
-how they inspect the groceries looking for their rawhides
-how they cuddle up in bed every night with us

the way they turn their head when they hear a wierd noise
the way the love to cuddle with you whenever you are sitting wether it's on the couch or infront of the computer
the way they bark like crazy at the tv when another dog is on
when the wrestle with eachother like WWE stars
when they fall asleep on the stairs with their heard between the spindles when i'm cooking (SEE AVATAR)
how they fall alseep together all mixed up and you can't tell ho'ws leg is who's
how they must sleep between our legs under the blankets
how they stare at you on top of the bed until you lift up the blankets for them
how they follow me everywhere in house waiting for me to play with them or siton the couch
gosh.....i could go on and on....

The guilty look on Ebony's face when he lets a stinky one rip...and then slinks off to the other room to get away from the smell!!
His cold, wet nose poking under my elbow while I try to type.
The look on his face when he wants to come in bed.
His little grunts and groans when I scratch his ears.
The shaky leg when you scratch the belly.
The way he runs around so happily in the park, and people comment on the cute puppy....and almost faint when I say he is 10 YEARS old, not 10 months!
The way he runs to get his ball when DH comes home, and they play on the front lawn.
That I can let him out the front door and he will roll around on the lawn or sit on the stoop but will not leave the property.

The way he tries to share his toys with the ferrets who are in a cage (he leaves his toys in front of their cage)
Watching him play with other dogs
The way he thinks he is a lap dog
The way he thinks he is a guard dog when the doorbell rings then switches to the official greeter of the house when we open the door
Watching him chase the rabbits in the back yard
watching him chase butterflies
His puppy love
Watching him play with DH

-waking up in the morning to their noses in my face
- waking up in the middle of the night to find them snuggled between DH and I
- walking in the door after work and listening to them "talk" to me
-when i am sad, lydia sits in my lap and head butts my chin. she is definitely the more sensitive one of my cats.
-laughing when they they caught doing something wrong, like stealing peas and broccoli from the kitchen table. who knew cats ate veggies?

How excited she gets when I come home and in the morning when I get up, her sleeping in my lap, how she is always right under my feet and just wants to be near me always, when she is walking around the house next to me and keeps looking at me to make sure I am still with her, her all curled up sleeping on her stuffed puppy, her adorable face, I could go on and on....I her!

how when I'm sad my dog knows to come over and sit next to me.
how he follows me into the bathroom and keeps me company.
how as soon as I go to get him a treat, he sits up and begs. so cute.
how when we go to the vet and sit down on the bench in the waiting room, he automatically gets up there with me and sits down.
