Introducing bottle at 7mths!!!!
Did anyone who breastfed do this? I have EBF since DD was born...now I am thinking I would like to introduce a bottle of formula for one of her feeds but Ped told me she more than likely will not take a bottle from me at this stage.....and she will just go straight to a sippy cup when I wean her at 1 year...
Is it worth the effort to even try her with a bottle do you think?
My initial plan was to BF for 6 mths and I dont want to wean her completely its just that she is still feeding every 3 hours and I can never leave her for longer than that..
TIA

Can you just give it to her in a sippy cup?

Re: Introducing bottle at 7mths!!!!
Okay...so I have NO experience with bottles...somebody bought me some Avent bottles when DD was born...Can I use those....what size nipple should I use?
I bought her a sippy cup to get her used to it but all she does is chew on it.

Re: Introducing bottle at 7mths!!!!
If you want it to resemble BF'ing, try a slower flow nipple, but if you want her to get lots out quickly, go for a 3 or 4 size.
She will have to work harder with a 1/2 size, so it will be more like BF'ing
