Does anyone know when it's safe to take a baby on a plane? How old should they be?

We are going to Florida when the baby will be just 8 weeks old. We are flying SouthWest so we cana pre -Board adn get seats in the front of the plane

I am flying back to NY in March and Frankie will be 4 months old. Will be asking MD tomorrow though if and when it is okay. I will let ya know what her advise is.
