Any Winter Mommies-to-be afraid of a blizzard?
Okay, I know I think too much but something about being due Feb 13 is making me worry about a blizzard or something and not being able to get to the hospital.
Anyone other winter mommies to be worrying about the same thing?

Oh heck yeah! I am in the same boat. I am due Jan. 26th. I keep hinting to DH this is one reason I need an SUV..LOL
Thankfully the fire dept. is right on my corner if (knocks on wood) it comes down to that.
Thank goodness Im not the only one worried about snow.

Funny you mention it..... My DD was born on Feb 10 and we had that huge snow storm Feb 11th. I asked the Ped and my OB to release a day early just so we could be home before the storm struck.
Just have everything ready to go before your due date. Typically the labor is long the first time around which gives you enough time to make it to the hospital.

My daughter was born on Jan 21st and the hospital released me the next morning because a huge snowstorm was coming... which was fine with me I slept better at home

Oh yes...I am dec. 1 and I am praying that the weather is decent..I know that my EDD is early in the winter but you never know with this weather!

Not really, only b/c I literally live 15 minutes from Winthrop and we have 2 SUV's. I would love some snow, how beautiful and precious would that be!

I was due Jan. 26th and we live a good 30 minutes from the hospital. I had the what if's...? all the time. I lucked out because I was actually at the doctors then he sent me across the street to get admitted.
I'll do the no snow chant for you

I am due January 1st and am afraid that DH will have to deliver the baby because we are going to be stuck either at home or in the car. I am a January baby myself and was born during a snow storm. So I'm a little concerned.
