NBR: Jones Beach Theater
DH and I are going to a concert at Jones Beach tomorrow night. We've never been there before and I have a couple questions - hopefully someone here can help!
What is the parking fee?
Can you bring umbrellas? (oh, I hope it doesn't rain...)
Do they have food stands? What kind of food is offered?
Any other tips/advice are welcome!

parking is free . they have a HUGE lot. yes you can bring umbrellas. and yep plenty of food stands, they offer hotdogs, icecream, hamburgers, etc. although it is a lil pricey. i just went there last month and it cost me $5.50 for a pretzel. besides that, its a great place to see a concert. who are you seeing??

Not that it matters to you, though it might to your DH, but they don't sell beer there.

What?? No beer!??
Thanks for the heads-up on the food/beverage situation. I think we'll pack a picnic dinner for the parking lot
and maybe I'll throw in a couple brews for DH to down before the concert. He'll need something to get through John Mayer and Sheryl Crow. 
i  John Mayer! DH is such a trooper for going with me!
