Before you went into labor did you feel a lot of fetal movement?
My baby is off the charts today flipping out and moving around. Im also having a few contractions (nothing regular though) but Im feeling a lot of shap stabbing knife pains "down there"
Anyone have any idea what's going on?

When is your due date again?
ETA: Start timing them, see if they become regular contractions

Ive been having BH for over a month now...but the ton of fetal movement and stabbing pain is someting new. The contractions are no where near with being timed. Im due 5/8 but measuring 4 wks ahead of schedule - which would mean Im measuring as if Im due 4/8.

I was induced, but once I went into active labor she was very active. But she'd been pretty active the whole pregnancy. Most drs visits it was tough to get a good read on her heartrate she moved so much!

Yes she has been really active my entire pregnancy too and her heart rate is always nice and high.
Today just felt different. She has calmed down now and the pains have stopped. Maybe she was just trying to roll over or something.

Ok. I would call the doctor if it continues. They will probably ask you to start timing them. I hope it was just her moving around.

Things seem to have quieted down. Thankfully. I have to treck to Penn Station on my lunch hour - fun fun fun.
